If you're unsure which resort to choose, just exit the port and head toward the police station. They can provide you with flyers and directions to various resorts. When we visited, we asked about the best resorts on Samal Island, focusing on budget-friendly options. That's how we ended up deciding on Paradise Island!

We took a tricycle to Paradise Island, which was about a 10 to 15-minute ride. Just a heads-up: the road can be quite bumpy and rocky! We paid around 120 pesos for the fare.

If you're planning a day trip, keep in mind that the last boat ride back is at 5 PM. Unfortunately, we missed out on seeing the sunset from Samal Island. You can head straight to Paradise Island Resort by taking a ride from the Paradise Island Dock. Next time, we’ll definitely go that route—riding a tricycle can get pricey! Overall, it was a fun adventure!
