FOREVER BE MY LIGHT

Sometimes, things don’t go exactly as planned, and that’s what happened with us. While the wedding was planned, the prenup photoshoot wasn’t. We just didn’t have the budget or time for it. But God was good to us that week—we unexpectedly had a little extra in our budget, so we decided to go for it. We wanted to create memories, something special to look back on and show our future kids. And if you know me (haha), you know I like everything to be well-planned, even if it’s stressful. We had just a week to plan the entire shoot, but we got so lucky. My now-husband had a college friend, Brant Remoyan, who’s a photographer. Without hesitation, we booked him, and once again, luck was on our side because he was available on such short notice!

The next step was deciding on the venue, theme, and hair & makeup artist. Initially, we thought of renting a house in Tagaytay, but then I needed to find a HMUA based there too. With only seven days to plan, I couldn’t find any available makeup artists for our desired date—everyone was fully booked. So, we had to scrap the Tagaytay plan.

My husband suggested we look for a place nearby that felt cozy, homey, and intimate. So, I did what I do best—searching for condos and resorts near Quezon City. And voilà! I found the perfect spot for our prenup! The interior was stunning, from the master bedroom to the living room and kitchen. It was exactly what we envisioned.

We ended up booking a spacious condo apartment at Greenbelt Rossendale in Makati City through Airbnb. The place was amazing, and we got it for just P6,200—totally worth it! If you're curious, you can find it on Airbnb as "Elegant and Chic plus Space in Superb Location."

After securing the unit, the next task was finding a hair and makeup artist. I’m so grateful for Facebook, which made everything so accessible. I managed to find a HMUA just two days before our shoot! A huge thank you to Ma'am Grace Delos Santos and Ma'am Michelle Aydeo for accepting our booking despite their tight schedules that day. Your help was invaluable!

With everything in place, we were all set for the shoot. We didn’t expect to be locking eyes for more than a day! A big thank you to our friend and photographer, Brant Remoyan, for being so patient with us and for capturing such a wonderful shoot. During the first set, we were super awkward—Ken and I couldn’t help but laugh whenever we looked at each other. But by the third set, we really got into it and were having a blast, especially during our outdoor shoot! Haha!

After the shoot, we were completely exhausted—who knew it would be so tiring? But we were so happy. It really sank in that we were about to get married!

It was truly one of the most magical moments of our lives. A prenup shoot isn’t just about being fancy or posting on Instagram for likes; it’s about the two of us experiencing that spark and magic time and again—feeling in love and so much more.

As I mentioned in my previous blog last year, I’ve found my light—the one that will stay with me forever. This light brings me a sense of calm and peace, always guiding me through life.

To my husband, thank you for always being by my side. Thank you for making me happy.
I love you so much, Hubby!
